Enter length and width in feet and depth in inches. Volume converts to cubic yards (÷27), and tons = cubic yards × density (default 1.4 tons per yard for crushed stone; lower it to ~1.3 for pea gravel). For a new driveway base, 4–6 inches of depth is common.
